Setting goals

We assist you in mapping out your (financial) goals. Together, we determine a strategy to achieve them. For example, what portion is already covered by your employer or the government, and what do you need to manage yourself? This could include your pension, a world trip, saving for your children’s education, and more.

Once your goals and timelines are clear, we help you work toward them. This can be achieved through saving or investing.

As your goals get closer each year and your situation may change, regularly reviewing them with your Viisi advisor is essential. That’s why we schedule at least one annual update meeting to discuss your situation and any changes.

How do we work?

We schedule two meetings. During the first, we review your current situation and goals. Based on this, we plan a second meeting where we present concrete solutions. We also made a glossary for you in order to understand some important Dutch words that you might come across.

Why invest?

Investing allows your wealth to grow, though you must accept short-term fluctuations. On average, this method yields higher returns than saving alone. However, due to inflation and Box 3 taxation, achieving goals with only a savings account can be challenging.

Viisi does not manage investment accounts directly, so we partner with Oakk Managed Investing. Through Oakk, we provide access to Dimensional Fund Advisors’ funds—one of the largest asset managers in the United States, managing approximately $550 billion.
