Sander Herbergs

Sander was born and raised in Maastricht but now lives in Amsterdam, just a stone’s throw from our headquarters. He spent his student years in Tilburg, completing his bachelor’s in international business administration and his master’s in finance. During his studies, he worked at a specialty beer café, and before that, he held various jobs in hospitality, construction, and engineering. He worked with blasting technology in Tilburg and spent two years in construction through a temp agency.

Through Magnet.me, he connected with Viisi, and since the office was around the corner, the decision was easy.

Outside of work, Sander enjoys spending time on a terrace with friends, especially on a warm summer day. His love for specialty beer, particularly IPAs and wheat beers, goes hand in hand with his passion for cooking. On weekends, he likes to take his time preparing elaborate meals and is gradually exploring the world of wine. He’s also an active person—he’s training for a half Ironman in Valencia, scheduled for April 2025, and in the winter, he can often be found on the slopes.

With his financial background and diverse interests, Sander is a valuable addition to the Viisi team.
