Timo van Zagten
Timo, originally from Moerkapelle, completed his studies in Political Science and International Relations in Leiden. He now lives with his girlfriend in The Hague, where he bought an apartment in 2023. Timo joins Team The Hague at Viisi as a consultant.
During his studies, he interned at the embassy in Saudi Arabia and enjoyed stepping out of his familiar environment for a while. Afterwards, he worked as a mortgage underwriter at Florius, where, in his final months, he also had contact with Viisi’s underwriters.
Viisi came across his path through LinkedIn. He wasn’t necessarily looking for something new, but Timo liked the idea of having more contact with people. That’s why he started exploring a job as a consultant at Viisi and their philosophy. Now, he’s a consultant at Viisi and gets energy from helping clients realize their housing dreams.
In 2023, Timo started playing hockey at Groen-Geel in Wassenaar. A new team was formed with guys who had no previous hockey experience, and that appealed to him. Besides hockey, he enjoys running and working out. All that exercise also means he needs to relax now and then, which he does by exploring The Hague’s restaurant scene or by watching sports or tv series.
